Emergency Dentist Costs in London Explained

Oct 05, 2024 5 min read

One of the biggest sources of anxiety for patients isn't the dental drill. It's the bill. At Emergency Dentist London, we believe that unclear pricing adds unnecessary stress to an already painful situation. That's why we are committed to complete transparency.

In this article, we explain exactly what you are paying for, the difference between NHS and Private emergency care, and how our pricing structure works.

NHS vs Private Emergency Care

NHS Dentistry: NHS charges are subsidized by the government. Band 1 urgent treatment is £27.40. However, finding an NHS dentist with emergency slots available in London can be incredibly difficult. You may wait days or weeks, or sit in a queue at a dental hospital for hours.

Experiencing these symptoms?

Delaying treatment can lead to tooth loss. We have slots available today.

Book Emergency Visit

Private Dentistry: Private care is self-funded. You are paying for:

  • Immediate Access: We prioritize same-day appointments, often within hours of your call.
  • Time: We allocate longer appointment slots (30-60 mins) to ensure we can diagnose and treat you, rather than just giving a temporary fix.
  • Materials & Tech: We use high-quality aesthetic materials (white fillings, not silver) and digital X-rays.

Our Pricing Structure

We have designed our fees to be accessible.

1. The Emergency Assessment: £30

This is our special offer for new patients. Many Central London clinics charge £80-£150 just to walk in the door. We charge £30. This covers:
