A trained chaperone is available for any consultation or examination where you feel one is necessary. Please let our reception team know in advance or on arrival.

All consultations and examinations are carried out in private rooms. Where sensitive or intimate procedures are involved, extra care is taken to maintain your comfort and privacy.

Clear Communication

We avoid using clinical jargon or unexplained abbreviations. Information is provided in a clear, understandable way, and you are encouraged to ask questions at any time.

Informed Consent

We always seek your informed consent before any examination, test, or treatment. You have the right to ask questions, decline treatment, or request alternatives.

Interpreting Services

If English is not your first language, please let us know in advance. We can help arrange interpreting or translation services wherever possible.

Easy-to-Understand Materials

Our forms, signs, and leaflets are written in plain language. If you require assistance completing paperwork or understanding information, our staff are here to help.

Right to Refuse Treatment

You have the right to refuse any treatment or procedure. Your decision will be respected, and we will work with you to explore other suitable options where available.

We involve you (and where appropriate, your carer) in all decisions regarding your care and treatment. Your preferences, beliefs, and concerns are always considered.

We handle all personal and medical information in strict confidence. Consultations are conducted privately, and your records are securely stored and only shared when necessary for your care or where legally required.

Staff Conduct

All members of our team are:

Professionally trained and registered with relevant governing bodies

Subject to background checks before employment

Required to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and patient care

Your Environment

  • Loud, abusive, or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • Patients under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances may be refused treatment.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • We reserve the right to refuse treatment or bar future service in cases of disruptive or unsafe conduct.
